We have showrooms at the Natural Bed Company in Sheffield. We’ve been here for over 20 years, in fact we started our business 35 years ago – making waterbeds! Opening times are Monday to Saturday 10 to 5.30. Our email contact is sales@naturalbedcompany.co.uk.
Our workshops are 2 miles from the showroom. All our beds are designed in-house and made by skilled Sheffield craftsmen. We have been awarded the prestigious Made in Sheffield mark granted to local businesses continuing Sheffield’s tradition of quality manufacturing. We believe in continuing to use local skills and in preserving the tradition and satisfaction of making a piece of furniture from start to finish. Our style of production and the variation in wood grain and colour ensures that each piece is beautiful and unique. It also allows us to customise your bed and help you get the bed you want.
We use sustainably resourced timber. Buying timber from managed forests ensures that new trees are planted and the cycle of planting, growth and harvest can continue. Timber for mass produced furniture from may be logged illegally or with no regard for the immediate environment or future of the planet. We think it is important that the amazing natural resource of timber should be used to make furniture that will last.
A new bed may need a new mattress. We can give you good advice on the phone but in the showroom you’ll be able to see the beds and test out the different mattresses. You’ll also see our collection of lighting and bedding.
We are Peter Bennion and Kay Wallace. In the showroom and on the phone you’ll also meet our colleagues Stephanie del’Nero, Amanda Bullivant and Chris Maidment.
